Located at the Adelphi building in Preston university, hence the name “AB-Lift 1″
This was the first lift I filmed with my video camera, so I apologise if I’m a bit loose with the camera.
This lift has had some “Ace Elevators” refurbishment, particularly the control panel and floor indicators.
When the car is around the top (second) floor, there is a lot of grinding outside the car structure… I have an itch this lift will jam one day, but who knows?
p.s. If you’re wondering what camera I am using, it is a Sharp VL-AH131H 8mm camcorder… a bit cheap and nasty compared to these “high-standard” camcorders, but it does the job for me though.

Great video, I love that sound of those buttons. It has very quiet operation.
